  • Awesome clip! And a very enjoyable movie. Sure, it's not a masterpiece but it is a great disaster flick. Phenomenal specials effects, loads of dead folks, great detail, that wonderful "who's going to survive?" and - man! - some wonderful and terrible scenes. Drowning! One of my worst fears. That Kurt Russel bit at the end - scary stuff! Makes my lungs hurt just watching it.

  • i know there has been a lot of critisism about this movie, but this entire scene is literally incredile, it has it all. :D

  • 3:30 ship of side, they die in the roof... little details ;B

  • @NukeMyHouse yes it is possible. and that is not just a wave its a tsunami. when a large massive earthquake happen it is possible to cause a tsunami like that.

  • Yes, it's wonderful..the CGI techies are talented. However, you can not compare to Irwin Allen, Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Shelley Winters, Stella Stevens, Red Buttons, Carol Lynley, Pamela Martin, RODDY MCDOWALL....NO COMPARISON. All done on set- NO computer bullshit.

  • i don't think that i will survive in a capsize ship, but i would like to play in a movie with capsized ship

  • It sucks to be at the kitchens and the galleys at the time, being burned, crushed, or cut.

  • @epicjose When this movie came out, (i was 9 or 10, lol) the previews literally gave me a massive phobia of cruises. Its gone now, cus freak waves like that are almost impossible.

  • Oh BTW! The reason they turned the boat was to lower the damage , if they didn't ...well think of the cover of the movie the perfect storm..yea

  • @NukeMyHouse Impossible? They're are just rarely seen ~ but have been known to happen ~ and known to be extremely high.
