  • @Istojataachatearme : Not that much. Dwarves on average are substantially shorter and stockier than men, and generally have beards. But if you take the kind of variability in physical characteristics you find in humans, and you map that onto dwarves, it wouldn't be that odd to have some of them look pretty human.

  • @jkraso528 no, but my ears did when that song began!

  • @NooBKiller073 I'm still torn about this too. Armitage has that epic fantasy look for this kind of movie, but I still think Thorin should be much older and more travel-weary looking. And I think he should have at least some gray in his hair....and that his beard should be down to his belt at least, I just have a hard time with a Thorin with nothing but "hero scruff".

  • Anyone else noticed the apple in the right corner of the video?

  • @StopActionGuy little late and totally wrong movies.

  • @campaigner111 Thorin *does* have grey in his hair; just not all that much.

  • @drdaveoldguy So, you dont mind the fact that some of these dwarves look like men?

  • Hmm. I expected Thorin to be an old, grey dwarve as in the book. Bit of a downfall...

  • I read the book and it is awsom, can't wait the movie!!!!
