Former Secretary of Condition Condoleezza Grain stopped by enemy territory (a.k.a. "The Daily Show") Tuesday evening to go over her new book, "No Greater Recognition," which stories her years within the Rose bush administration.
The majority of the lengthy and spirited conversation (which you'll watch entirely here) was dedicated to discussion from the Iraq war and also the intelligence mistakes that brought as much as it, but Jon Stewart began on a (relatively) light subject: Libyan dictator Moammar Kadafi's well-recorded crush on Grain.
"Were you conscious that he'd an unusual and, shall I only say, creepy fixation on Secretary of Condition Condoleezza Grain?" he requested.
Grain described that some foreign-minister pals had already cautioned her about Kadafi's obsession, which she did her best not not to become distracted. "I thought, 'Just cope with your company, simply do the job of diplomacy,'" she remembered. "Everything was going fine after which he stated, 'I have this video for you personally.' And That I thought, 'Uh-oh, what's this?'"
It switched to be considered a video that incorporated pictures of Grain with assorted world leaders (Hu Jintao, Vladimir Putin) set to some song known as "'Black Flower within the Whitened House." (No, really.)
Stewart could barely contain his laughter, and Grain appeared awfully amused too. Sadly, Grain couldn't remember the way the song went.
It had been a pleasant, if brief, moment of accord. Through out the segment, Stewart and Grain talked about the problem in the centre East, such as the "Arab Spring" and also the run-as much as the war in Iraq, plus they didn't find much to agree with.
They'll also have Kadafi.

@SirSoloDolo33 He helped me realized what happened to entertainment television. Bad economy and low standards made all my favorite tv channels "ratings whores," which they will pay for dearly.
lol it's funny how uncomfortable stewart makes all these mainstream media shows. it's crazy that they even have him on because he picks them apart and more and more people wake up to the manipulation every day. lol i guess they really care about their short term ratings.
Jon's simply pointing out the problem with news by corporate sponsored media. Crossfire was a good example. Two contrived chimps showcasing how a dem and repub should be concerned about issues. It's about context & shaping opinion rather than just giving you all the facts & letting you decide. The emotionally weak minded are especially easy to manipulate. Like reactionary 5th graders with that arrogant, You're either with us or against us mentality
Jon Stewart is right, the news media should be about informing the people with facts and bipartisan debate, instead they are playing the sensationalism game and are newstainment. I think the fault is on the public for this one though, because newstainment is what they want, and supports poor news practices.
