Jim Carrey is placed to star inside a 'Bruce Almighty' follow up.
Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel happen to be requested by Universal to create a script for that film which may see Jim reprise his role in the 2003 movie where he performed Bruce Nolan, a lower-on-his-luck TV reporter guy who gripes about God too frequently and it is then given forces to be able to train him how difficult it's to operate the planet.
Jim has formerly spoken of his need to film a follow up towards the movie - that was an enormous hit in 2003 - saying: "We are speaking about maybe coming back with a old figures that everybody continues to be asking about 'Bruce Almighty' and we are speaking about maybe another 'Dumb and Dumber'."
It's unclear if Morgan Freeman will reprise his role as God or maybe Jennifer Aniston, who performed Bruce's girlfriend Sophistication Connelly will return for that new film.
A spin-off featuring Steve Carell's character, reporter Evan Baxter was launched in 2007.
Steve and Jim are going to star together next in 'Burt Wonderstone' with Jim playing a street magician who upstages a Vegas illusionist (Steve) after he sacks his partner.
'Burt Wonderstone' is anticpated to be directed by Don Scardino, with Tyler Mitchell in line to create the storyline.
