We rarely mention what "Gaddafi" and "fashion" within the same sentence (well, except when we are reminiscing concerning the dictator's peculiar style).
But Gaddafi's boy, Mutassim Gaddafi, really dated Vanessa Hessler, an Italian American model who's shot TV spots for Armani, Calvin Klein and L'Oreal and walked Prada's Fall/Winter 2010 show.
Now, reviews the Daily Mail, Hessler's relationship with Gaddafi has become her fired.
Hessler was release from her job because the face of telecommunications company Telefonica Germany after speaking out about her link with the Libyan regime. The 23-year-old told Italian magazine Diva e Donna that they and Mutassim were built with a "very beautiful love story." Converted by Style United kingdom, she also stated:
"We, France and also the Uk, funded the rebels but individuals don't know what they're doing... The Gaddafi household is not the way they are now being portrayed, they're normal people. I did not have connection with him because the uprising started, but our relationship was among passion."But Telefonica Germany wasn't quite ready to split up the Gadaffis' personal lives using their dictatorial management of their people, states the Daily Mail. The organization responded immediately via Twitter, writing, "Vanessa Hessler's associations are private business. However we can't accept her comments around the Lybia [sic] conflict."
An agent adopted using the statement, "Vanessa Hessler has unsuccessful to distance herself from her comments around the conflict in Libya," inducing the termination of her Telefonica Germany contract.
Although some could see it as being justified, we can not help but feel a little harmful to Hessler: inside a bi weekly span, she lost both her job and her boyfriend, as Mutassim Gadhafi was wiped out on October 21 in Libya.
