We're 3 episodes in to the second season of "The Voice," and already there's some news concerning the hit NBC show's third season.
Based on TheWrap, Christina Aguilera has signed an agreement to carry on her stint around the knowing panel for any third season from the singing competition. Aguilera may be the to begin the 4 idol judges to ink her deal, a pay day that is allegedly within the $ten million realm.
TheWrap also reviews the third season could premiere within the fall instead of waiting until 2013 this could potentially put "The Voice" in direct competition with Fox's "X Factor."
When MTV News arrived at out for comment from NBC, a show insider stated no decision has been manufactured about season three.
It's expected that Aguilera's fellow idol judges Cee Lo Eco-friendly, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will all renew their contracts within the coming days which the 3rd season will tape from September through December of the year.
"The Voice" has shown to be a significant hit for NBC. The growing season-two premiere following a Super Bowl on Sunday gained NBC's best rankings to have an entertainment show in six years. Monday's episode gained the network's best amounts for your particular timeslot in nearly eight years, save for broadcasts from the Olympic games.
When MTV News swept up using the show's new social networking correspondent Christina Milian lately, the singer/actress gushed concerning the lovefest on set.
