Dita Von Teese's parents wished she was dealing with "a phase" when she said excitedly she thought about being a burlesque dancer.
The 39-year-old star embarked on her behalf questionable career when she was 18, even though she wasn't concerned about declaring that mom and dad, she understood it can't be their ideal option for her.
She told United kingdom Television show 'OK!TV': "After I made the decision to become burlesque dancer, I had been 18 I'd six charge cards and that i was having to pay rent. What were my parents gonna let me know? But I have been a ballet dancer my existence so I have been carrying out and so i don't believe these were really shocked even though they most likely were wishing it had been only a phase!"
Dita - who had been once married to Marilyn Manson - has become famous on her glamorous look but she confesses she's very strict if this involves taking her make-up off in the finish during the day.
She stated: "I do not spend much time while watching mirror. I put on red-colored lipstick every single day. I've very strict rules about getting rid of make-up before I retire for the night. I have only ever rested in make-up two times during my whole existence and that i hated it. I throw make-up baby wipes on my small buddies and say, 'You're not sleeping until you've removed your make-up!' "

Watched this movie over Christmas and LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!! Christina has an incredible voice that gives you chills and Cher can still belt out a tune :-) Two of my all-time fave singers in the same movie...and a SERIOUSLY HOT Cam Gigandet ;-) GET IN MY BED YOU SEXY MAN!
@IAmADreamer93 Yeah I never really understood that. A lot of people call it a contemporary musical. Maybe that's what it means? I'm not sure. It's more of a drama-comedy with performance art but that sounds weird. :P
