It elevated a couple of eye brows once the casting was initially introduced, however these first photos of Bill Murray playing Leader Franklin D. Roosevelt make obvious the "Ghostbusters" star was an ideal choice to do the job.
Murray chomps cigars and charms within the batch of stills from "Hyde Park On Hudson," an approaching film from Focus Features that recounts the storyline from the British King and Queen's trip to Roosevelt's vacation home in 1939. The image will mix political wrangling, using the royalty searching towards the US for support within the inevitable war using the Nazis, and domestic drama, giving focus to Roosevelt's alleged affair together with his distant cousin and confidant, Daisy Suckley.
